The new and "Final" version of Opera Mini 5 sucks in my opinion. I want the Beta 2 back, but there seems to be no way of downloading it. Does anyone have the original install file for Beta 2??
The largest font size in this "Final" version is smaller than the "Small" in beta 2!! That's my biggest gripe. Secondly when I have 5 downloads going at a time, the browser just quits! I often download podcast which is split up into multiple files, and the download manager worked so great in Beta 2, but is not working well in this "Final" version.
All I want is the ability to put Beta 2 back on my BB, that's all.
I never liked the opera mini 5 in any versions.. I still like the earlier version where you could scroll up and down on the browser by using the trackball left to right. On the newer ones you have a slow arse cursor to scroll up and down.

Little contradictive to what your asking in your OP isn't it? Why not just switch to something else, apparently you approve of none of them?
Just a quick note- the Opera guys put out a new revision for the BlackBerry that fixes two of the major glitches, including font size. Large text is now dang huge, so if you swore off OM5 for this... C'mon back

Yeah, I agree with the OP - this version of Opera has some nice features but is incredibly frustrating otherwise. The UI lags like crazy and doing things like opening menus, switching between tabs etc requires a lot of patience. On top of that, it simply isn't stable; its already crashed on me several times, which is something that hardly ever happened in older Opera Mini versions. I'm not impressed with it at all.
