I hate having to click the friend's list and it has to update for some reason, even though nothing changed, and it slows the WHOLE phone down. I don't mind it slowing the whole phone down, only if it actually needed to update instead of doing it just when I wanted to write on someone's wall. I guess that's the bane of doing what one would expect to be convenient. It's inconvenient.

In Messages, click the BB button. Select Facebook, select Write on Wall, then enter the name and the message. Done.

Also, the leaked Facebook 1.8 loads friends instantly and is all around faster.
