The only location I would allow anyone to hold me by the balls, is when a customer sits in my dental clinic and strikes the following deal, he holds my balls, and I get the hint, if I hurt him - He will hurt me. Blackberry Manuf. are real Bastards, allowing Skype only via Verizon. This is a FREE world, Thousnads of people purchased their Blckbry overseas thus, they will NEVER have access to Skype. Who do they think they are? as I mentioned above, simply Bastards!

This thread made me lol. Even though I'm (partially) with the OP, I can see why Skype is working just with Verizon.

I've been waiting for Skype for BB for ages too!

Although this is not a free VoIP Client it may still be an alternative for some folks. I believe it's worth the $19. It's not a skype client but actually much better since it allows you to use any SIP based VoIP provider or even PBX over WiFi (or 3G data) to make calls.
