i have the weatherbug installed now. Although the temp is accurate the icon doesn't change. For example it is showing me the moon since last night. Anyway to fix this to show the sunny/cloudy?????????????
i've got a question about weather bug, does it show only the small bug and temp? or is it supposed to also show like clouds, moon, etc...?
By default the application installs only the bug icon with the temperature and alert information.
You can download additional icons which will work with the application.
To do so:
1) Go to your BlackBerry "Options"
2) Select "WeatherBug Settings"
3) Open the full menu and select "WeatherBug Portal"
4) Select "WeatherBug Direct Extensions"
5) Choose from any of the extensions to add to your application
Currently the following extensions exist:
- WeatherBug Forecast
- WeatherBug Pollen
- WeatherBug Storm
- WeatherBug Air Quality (AQI)
- WeatherBug UV
- WeatherBug Settings (provides direct homescreen access to the settings)
There is only WAP site support for the Forecast and Storm extensions. The others will link to the same information you see when you click the bug.
Thanks,
Eddie
