I have a BB 8800 with the newest updates and when i try to log into AIM, or for the matter any IM client, i received a message that says "service not enabled for this device". Now i thought it would be a problem in my servicebooks but i cant figure out how to request them. I have tried to many things, i have re-installed the program numerous times, and i have even talked to RIM directly multiple times but they have no idea what to do. SO i was just wondering if there was anyone out there that may have had the same problem and knew how to fix it.

Thanks, i hope to hear back.

    hello caliboy209

since none of the IM clients work, have you made sure that you are subscribed for Instant Messaging with TMO?

If you are, do you have any service books for AIM on your device?

Options > Advanced Options > Service Book.

Same exact issue here, supposidly the new version of AIM does not work with any tmobile devices (BB's). Revert back to the old version of AIM from BlackBerry's website.
