    i signed in to AIM.. i receive an IM from a friend and after reading it and ending the conversation... the alert icon says that i still have 10 msgs and i have no idea how to clear this.

    i know thats the ALWAYS a solution but theres no way to just clear this?!?
    side note (alt+right shift+del=battery pull)

    Have you checked your "Messages" icon? You know, that one that looks like an envelope. Sometimes they are there too.

    yep.. checked that... its specifically the aim icon (the guy in the yellow shirt with 1 arm up) and the number 10 next to it. if i get a new message it will go to 11 and back to 10 when i read it. if i sign on and off it will clear untill i get a new message... number might change but still something there

    My new piece of advice: Delete the AIM and reinstall the letest version(.32 I think).
