"Open" command:
Requires permissions be set to function properly. Set everything to "Allow" in Options > Advanced > Applications > Aerize Alerts > menu > Edit Permissions.

Why do SMS popups look different:

Currently Aerize Email Alerts does support SMS, but SMS notifications will lack the options to delete or mark as read because they're implemented differently in the BlackBerry.

How to set sound and vibration:

The device will still play whichever sound you have selected in the active profile for the specified event. These can be modified in Profiles > Advanced > (select a profile) > Menu > Edit.

How to set pictures:

Aerize Alerts automatically uses the contacts picture associated with the sender's Email address. These can be changed as normal in the Address Book application. Select a contact and then choose Edit in the menu.

To try if popups aren't being generated:

As far as not receiving alerts, on some devices it may be necessary to restart to allow Aerize Alerts to load on startup. This can be performed by removing the battery for a moment and then replacing it and allowing the BlackBerry to boot. Please also check to see that the correct application permissions are enabled by navigating to BlackBerry Options > Advanced Options > Applications > Aerize Alerts, and pressing the menu key, then Edit Permissions. Furthermore, check that your current level of filtering isn't set too high. For the time being, set it to "Only show if: anyone."
