I received one of the 5000 free copies and my battery is draning rapidly. I don't even get an entire day where as I used to get 1-2 days on even more usage. Is this because of the aerize email alerts

We've never encountered this problem before. Here's one thing to check though: is it possible you have bluetooth or wifi left on? Constant radio usage maintaining the connection can be a big battery drain. Also, if you disable Alerts, does the battery usage remain at the same rate? How about if you then proceed to temporarily uninstall?
