Default 9860 Memory leak solved thanks to an app!

I'm testing an app and I have to say it's very useful!

It apparently solves the memory leak problem on my 9860 cleaning all the unused memory every X mins. It's called AUTMemory and it's free on AppWorld.

It runs in background (using just a little bit percentage on battery life) and it cleans the memory automatically. Moreover, it enables a command in every menu in order to clean the memory directly from there.

Could you please test it and give me a feedback asap? Thanks a lot guys!

you can clean the memory this application reaches from the security menu. That does not solve either of the two memory problems of the 9850/9860. 1. Lack of application memory. 2. Recovery of application memory being chewed up in continuing Java processes (typically media applications) due to poor coding.

The fix for the memory problems that plague the BB9850/60 (essentially all BB OS7.1) is to switch to an OS not running Java.

My friend's 9900 doesn't have a memory leak as bad as the 9860. Don't know why that is.

The native BlackBerry Memory Cleaner is a security feature. It cleans sensitive information from your BlackBerry's memory when it password locks and at user set intervals.

After 24 hours of using the app, I can say that it is indeed faster and more responsive. Thanks to the OP for introducing the app.
