I'm just wondering about the 3rd party applications I've bought, in the event I have to exchange my 9700 for a refurb or new phone of the same model do I have to buy the applications all over again as I'll have a new pin? I've used bbsak before but it just restores applications, you still need to enter the registration information. Is that information pin specific? I save all the email confirmations and registration info on my computer, can I just take this info and re-enter it?
Depends on the App itself. Most of the ones I know about use keys which are not pin specific. I also believe the apps in appworld are tied to an account not a phone. I could be wrong though.
it depends on were you purchased the apps. I purchase all mine through mobihand or crackberry. They have a way to change you pin and receive new registration numbers for your replacement phone. Not sure about bb app world.
