ok after removing about 15 apps that i know i have no intention of using again, eliminated voice dialing, foreign language support, deleting a ton of messages (which i never do), and the OE wallpapers, im now booting at 50.2MB. ill check again in a few hours to see what its leaked down to. im gonna search for meterberry now n see if its anything useful to me. thanks for the tip.
How much app memory do you have right now? Also, how many apps?
I'm on .75-- after a battery pull, I start out with 40MB, and never drop below 20-25MB... and I only do a battery pull about once a week.
Apps I have: Facebook, TweetGenius, Viigo, MSDict, Visible Vote, CaptureIt, SoftReset, 3 launchers, AIM, BBM, BB Maps (which I don't use very often), and the Custom_Dark theme.
The whole memory thing boggles my mind. I boot up with about 25MB, usually drift down to 13MB or so and hold there in a matter of a couple hours, limited use of any type. Today, took 12 hour car ride back home, had Slacker and Pandora running throughout the trip (one or the other). Got home, checked my memory and only lost 2MB (sitting at 23MB). Makes no sense how NOT using the phone my memory drifts down to 13MB, but running 2 apps for 12 hours continuously today (along with every thing else I normally have running in background) and memory only changed by 2MB.
I don't understand how some people have 40-50MB free at boot up and I have 25MB (I'm running .132). I've also checked out running stock theme versus non-stock, no memory difference. Also swapped out BerryWeather and ran with and without it, no difference. The memory thing seems to be more random than actual usefulness.
I also have the same problem. I don't think I am running that many apps, and I boot up around 21-25mb and maintain about 1-13mb. I read that log maid was good and it worked will with Aerize Optimizer. I don't have the Optimizer running on automatic. What can I do to get my app memory up? My Device memory total is 879.2mb and I have 874.7mb free. I also have about 4gb on my media card free. Any help would be appreciated.
I have 47 constant.I deleted most useless(to me) stuff.
I'm running .75
Ill update with the apps I have in a bit

What types of apps eat up memory? I am now running the free Palm Pre theme which seems to be helping with the battery issue. Running .148 & some apps, but can't get my memory above 26 even at reboot. Then it just slowly declines. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

What apps are you running? Are you running anything that is always on and using the GPS?
