First, I use storm slider to lock my phone. I am still very disappointed that there is no native "standby" mode on the storm, short of a magnetic holster. Is there an app out there that locks the storm and puts it into standby? Are there any options for standby?

Second, I use the S L Y D E theme and with berryweather. Today berryweather had some server issues and wasn't updating, but that got better... NOW the home screen icon doesn't show time and temp/conditions, despite being set to do so. Two or three battery pulls later it isn't any better.

Any help would be awesome.

Exactly. So... Um.... Need an app that DOES work. Somebody seriously needs to do this. Standby is such a great battery saving feature of blackberries, I don't understand why RIM took this feature away from the mute button on the Storm.
