I use willyboy version 8 hybrid on top of 822 and have not had the silent ring bug. I also put on bebuzz. For the missed call reminder in case it did do a silent ring

I am running the same hybrid, and I do not have any issues with the ringtones.

Can somebody provide a link to the willyboy hybrid dowload? I've actually come back to the 9000 Bold as my main device until the 9780 drops to AT&T, and want to run the latest OS for this phone!

I've been using .822 for the last few Bold 9000's we have deployed...haven't noticed any major bugs or memory issues.

I'm on .771. .822 was a memory killer for me, losing 20+Mb of memory in a span of 3 hours. Consistent battery pulls were required.

.771 is much more stable!

The previous owner of my 9000 had .509 running already...but I changed to .771 yesterday, and had major SMS issues with sticking threads...so upgraded to .822 last night.

So far all is well...but experiencing some bigger memory drain issues than I had. I've only got a handful of apps loaded, and after several battery pulls...I'm settled at 18mb of space!

If the willyboy hybrid would cure that...I'd go for it!

In the words of JRSCCivic98, "Don't be a CEO, Search the Forums!"

Or Google. Google will suffice.
