lock key is working snappier than ever and internet browsing is way faster no wifi problems. Smooth transitions virtualy no freezes or delays everything is just on point.

i wake up and start using my phone non stop at 7a.m on average i dont charge it till 1 or 2 a.m and still have two bars left

It wasn't working on 461 hence why I went back to 411. Btw, care to give me the link you used ?

509 is the newest BETA version of os 5 that is available for the 8900\
if ur a newbie i would not recommended 4 u
incase u have a bit of blackberry understanding

yeh u really did, cause i dont want my battery life to b affected cause i'm on it 24/7 for my business, my day job and personal

The lock key worked for me on 461 but not on 509. The lock button does not display an icon, but goes straight to stanby when pressed. The standby button which was on the other side does nothing at all now.
Like I said on another postI use a holster so it makes no odds, but to be honest I like the fact that I can use my phone straight from the holster without unlocking...

That's not what people are saying though... it seems they've re-jigged the standby/lock keys again and it's not behaving like .411 did.
