Update stuck at backup. what will happen if i interrupt it now?

Hey everyone,

I'm updating my OS from 4.6 to 5 and it's stuck at backup (WordToGoPrefs).
If i unplug my phone now and cancel the update now will my phone be unusable?
I'm assuming only the backup file would be corrupted if i unplug it now but I'm not 100%.

Any help would be appreciated.

it's all good, I unplugged it and nothing happened. A pop up said that my computer couldn't connect to the phone. No idea why this happened but the phone is okay.
