send mp3 with bbm

Im tryna send somebody a mp3 song with bbm and when i send it, it automatically declineds on the other persons end. Could it be that the song is protected or what. The person doesnt have a sd card can that be the cause...but when i send like a 40 sec mp3 ringtone is goes thru!

my guess is that the mp3 is too big. try sending it email

no the mp3 is just 4.5mb and the max is 6
