"Reset Software 561"

Hi all,

I just updated (or least, tried to) my blackberry bold 9650. The update was going smoothly until I got an error saying "reset software 561." I tried rebooting, but each time I am stuck at the same error page. I've been looking for solutions, but all of them involve windows computers to use the blackberry desktop manager. Unfortunately, I only have a mac. What are my options? any help will be greatly appreciated.

Options? Install bootcamp and BlackBerry Desktop Software on it. The Mac software as good as it is, still lacks in the low level device handling like its big brother PC version.
