Default recently upgraded to5.0.0.862
so i recently just upgraded to .862 on my 9700
when it rebooted
and i checked my app world, my blackberry ID was no longer registered
so i had to make a new one? is that suppose to happen?
and my bbm downgraded back to 5.0 from 5.0.1.38 (i think)

Your I'd should just have to re-enter and good to go. With bbm yes I had to re-install it, but bo biggie.

can i load os .862 on bold 9000 from a different carrier and run it

Sure! . . as long as it IS MADE FOR the 9000 . Just delete a file called vendor and upgrade

862 is for the 9700 not for the 9000
