OS5 issues

Hey folks,

I have a problem with OS5 on my 9700. I am on the T-Mobile USA network.

I am currently running the .714 (T-Mobile), but I have issues with the SMS application. Sometimes an SMS thread would not open when I click on it, and I have to switch off the phone, switch it on again and then hit the enter button around 10 times before it opens. That bug is fixed on .862, which I recently tried. But with .862 (and .979 and .1014) the UMA call clarity is bad. I pretty much have the UMA issue with all OS5 builds except the .545 and the .714.

My question is: is there any way to "combine" OS .714 and .862 to have the bug-fixed OS with the UMA clarity of .714 ? Is that what you would call a hybrid ?

I think you are looking for a hybrid OS, there is hybrids in the proper section of this forum that you should check out remember to read the first post.

Advance backup whatever is needed.
Wipe device --> nuke is using BBSAK --> reinstall new and latest OS5.
