Default OS5 Alarm on 8330

Is there a way to mute all sounds/LED except the alarm clock? I'm current running OS 5.0.0.438 on Verizon 8330.

Have you tried using the Silent profile?

Doesn't that make everything including alarm clock silent?

Honestly, if I were you I would just set your BB to turn off. If you don't want any notifications at all then turning it off would be your best bet. Even when your Blackberry is turned off it will still automatically turn on at your set alarm. I did that when I was on vacation from work and did not want to be bothered by work emails at all hours.

Hope this helps.

I don't mind the notifications really, but I really need the alarm clock. If I turn off the phone, the alarm will still come off at set time?

Yes - when "off" it's actually in deep standby; radio is off and everything is unresponsive but there's components that keep track of time and will automatically turn your phone back on if you have the alarm set, and/or using the auto on/off feature.

No. It only affects those items listed in the Profiles.

The Alarm is not affected by the Profiles.
