Make sure that when you are going through the installation that you have your networking hardware disabled. Turn off your wireless card and your ethernet card. It calls out when it starts the update in Desktop Manager. If all connections to the web are severed, the update should go through.

Good Luck!

Go to the windows start button > search > select all files and folders > select "my computer" > then do a search for "vendor.xml". Any that show up, right click and delete.

Default Having issues

I am having major issues downloading 5.0 for my unlocked 9000. I did everything it said... I deleted the xml file. And I saw the software in desktop manager but it had an asterisk next to it * saying I wasn't registered for that software or something. Can anyone help?? i know this is possible... please tell me what to do. Thanks
