I just upgraded last night as well:

- Looks okay, threaded SMS issue looks fixed
- Missing games have been brought back
- Seems more stable than .509

Will let you know if I find anything else

I'm running on OS 5.0.0.592, I had some trouble upgrading it earlier, but I'm tempted to do it again!

Just upgraded using the loader.exe file. Went off smoothly, took around 10 minutes to complete.

Here are a few things I noticed

1) The message thread issue seems to have been resolved
2) Boot time is slightly better (around 2 minutes lesser?), but 5% battery was lost - it came down to 95%, but I'm not sure if the device was actually at 100%, or if it was just an artificial charge
3) It doesn't seem to be any faster from os .592

Of course, it's just been 10 minutes since i got it :P

Will post more tomorrow after field testing it a bit!

@adh983: upgrade your os if you're comfortable doing so, you'll find plenty of guides showing you how it's done. I too upgraded from 4.6 to 5.0 and it's a huge difference, definitely worth going for it. The game breaker is the battery life, which is much, much better in the recent 5.0 releases

The only default games I have are Word Mole and Brickbreaker. Which others do you have?

Updated to .681 last night and so far so good. I'm loving the faster boot up. Besides the new camera's new shutter sound, I have not noticed anything extraordinary yet. Will give it a weeks worth of running and will update you guys further.

Yeah I think I remember them being there in my list of applications to be installed, except they were un-ticked.

The messges thread - you can now delete a single message from the thread of messages, without having to go through the folders!

Quick question, I've not updated since the 5.0.0.411 cause the one I did update to didnt allow me to use the top buttons at the top (the keypad lock more importantly) do the top buttons work on this version?

Because everything I've seen in this thread is appealing enough for me enough to update, aslong as the hidden keypad lock button works.

Dude that's sweet. That will be really convenient in the long run.
*update* Another thing I've noticed is that in vibrate mode, it vibrates a little stronger/louder. Has anyone else noticed the difference?

@1DJC The top left button locks the keypad, but does not perform a security lock (where you have to input a password to unlock it) The top right button silences the ringer when a call comes in. Pretty much the same as before.

Here is a minor bug/problem that I noticed in the new version; there is a problem with emoticons in the BBM groups - for some reason, every time I click on one using the drop down menu, I can only see the top edge of the emoticon in my message composition bar. Once I post however, the emoticon is there.

Another thing is while SMS'ing the emoticons option have been reduced, and the outlay has been changed.

Has anyone else noticed these things?
