have you used BBSAK to wipe the device and then reload a legit OS?

I have the same problem. Tried loading the latest generic device software 5.0.0.810 but I cant even get the loader to maintain a connection with the 9650. It can see it though, so I can see the pin, but can not connect to it. I have tried different things but so far no luck. Tried reverting back to the older Desktop software and loader to see if that would help but no dice. Any ideas?
Powers on and after a bar loads under the words blackberry I get a white screen saying "Reload Software 507"
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks.
