newbie needing big HELP!! blackberry in cal mode

ok i really dont know who else to ask!

woke up 2 mondays ago to find my bb 8900 dead after being on charge all night, all i got was a constant red light, tried another battery, no luck, plugged into pc and even that didnt pick it up,

sent to o2 repair and the tried to say it was water damaged even tho i know it hasnt been near water, beyond economical repair they said, but when i got it back form them it was dead, not even a red light......., so i fot if they had been into the insides of it then i might as well rip it apart, so in i went, no connectors were attached at all!,

so connected them all, am weheyyy! we have life!

now im stuck at a device in cal mode screen,
it dus offer me to push buttons like spell out start but when i press any buttons the screen flickers slightly......

, iv tried updating the o.s but no luck as it stops and cant find the handset when its reinitalising......... hmmm

so what i really want to know is, is there any way to get past the cal mode????????????
