So this may be a dumb question, But will this bring back Barcodes etc to those of us who have updated to 5.0.238 OS for BB 8900? Cause I miss BBM 5.0.

BBM 5.0 will include barcodes...so if there's a release that's compatible with your device and OS (which i bet there will be) then yes, it will...

FYI it's available in app world, and getting reports it's working on 5.0.0.230 for the storm

Vzw has it, but you need a satellite lock in bb maps or it doesn't work.

The leaked version I have on my bold is 5.0.8. The version available in app world is 5.0.0.33

Wouldn't that be a *lower* version then the one I already have??

there are other sources to download it...i know of at least 5 separate OTA sites, including blackberry.com, CB, BA, etc...

the leaked version you have isnt 5.0.8 ........ it is 5.0.0.8

new version is 5.0.0.33 .... thus being much higher
