Invisible Messages-8900, OS5

I had this problem where it showed me there is a new message waiting to be read but it is not there, on the previous os i just marked prior opened... This does not work on os5, there are also some threads that are hidden on show as a single blue highlighted line when you scroll over them. i have deleted my entire message history done everything battery pulled but its just not going away!

I had that happen to me. I had saved an unread message into my saved message folder. Try opening "saved messages"and push "U" to display unread messages.
