| | I'm staying with OS5 for now
I've been monitoring all the threads constantly on the OS6 upgrade and agree with Wolfmanrobby, I'm leaving sleeping dogs lie for a bit.
Yes I would love OS6 but you only have to look at all the posts on the 9700 forum now. There are so many bugs that nearly every post is about problems after upgrading.
Honestly, OS5 862 for me, does everything. It's quick, reliable and as is often said "each to his own".
Having said all that, I will still keep looking at the posts.
Mind how you go.
Dangerous.

One thing to consider, many of us that are enjoying it have nothing to post about. I'm loving the speedy performance of the browser and OS in general.
If I was vain enough to think everyone needed to know my opinion, I would start a thread on how much I'm enjoying BB6.
To each their own, though.

To each their own, though. | +1 no issues here either. It works like a charm and very happy with it.

That even though most of the threads you see are people complaining, most (nearly all) of the people that are enjoying it aren't going to make threads about enjoying it.
Naturally, there are going to be more complaint threads than positive ones, as problems require attention.
Myself and all three of my buddies that downloaded BB6 on their 9700 are more than please with the performance. That doesn't mean you will enjoy it, though.

I'm split. So far I' sticking with my OS5, love my themes and familiarity with it too much at the moment. Haven't had much free time anyway to upgrade the OS, maybe this weekend. The main parts of OS6 I'm looking forward to are the browser and revamped media player. I know I will get OS6 eventually, debating if I should wait for a second leak to come out first or jump at this one |

I just think it's great as it is and don't want to brick it.

I got a torch because I was tired of waiting for os 6 for the 9700. I got SO excited yesterday when it leaked and I went right back to my 9700, installed it, and i love it! I'm wondering if I'll forget to touch the screen on the torch when i go back.... IF i go back... ^_^

Looking at it again, I can see how it could easily be interpreted that way. Was only pointing out why I (and I'm guessing many others) haven't made threads about how much we're enjoying it. |

My only advice is to do a backup before installing and there's no need to wipe your device pre-installation (it does it automatically in the upgrade). I believe wiping first is where most people mess up their phone and get a 507 error.
