How do I downgrade leaked version of os 6 back to os 5?

I've already tried searching the forums couldn't get the right answer.

I have the 9300 and I installed the leaked version of o.s. 6. I want to downgrade because, for some reason it won't let you send mms and it's just not all that. The phone is a rogers phone. PLEASE help me step by step. Thank you!

Uninstall OS6 from your computer and install the OS5 that you want to put on your BB.

from there, download BBSAK and wipe the phone. BlackBerry Swiss Army Knife

From there run loader.exe and OS5 will install.


please make sure to back up all your data first so you can restore it after you re install OS5

Thing is though my phone came with OS5 so I cant delete it... can i?

im not sure what youre trying to say.

You need to uninstall OS6 from your computer and install an OS5

Follow Fubaz's initial post and you should be good to go, but make sure you install the OS5 version you want on your computer first and make sure no other version is present on your pc

Incase the OP checks this...I have the 9330 (almost identical to yours) running leaked OS6. It does allow you to send MMS, only thing is you still have to choose text message from the send menu. It differentiates automaticallym I was confused as well at first.

MMS is now text message with OS 6. Give it a try!!!!!
