Help downloading OS 5 !!!

I'm trying to get the latest update for 9630 but when I go to Rim's dowload page I encounter two problems.

1. The form requires that I enter a job title and Co. Why can't I leave these fields blank . This is for personal use not my job. What if I don't have a job does that mean that I can't download?

2. There are several different versions of the software listed. I know I should choose multilanguage but which version of the multilanguage? I checked the description of both listed and didn't see a difference between the two offered. Any clarification would be appreciated.

1. Just enter a few characters. It doesn't matter what you put there.

2. What version numbers are listed?

I am currently on:
v5.0.0.1030( bundle 1675, Platform 4.2.0.451) for Verizion. I know that the ones listed above are not for Verizion but that I can install after I delete the vendor XML, but which one do I use. Thanks SwitchBeach for your help. I'm kinda lost here

The China Mobile release (Applications: 5.0.0.1078) is the latest release, so if you are looking for the latest, use that one.

And you mostly likely want the "All Languages" version not the "EastAsia" version.

Having said all that, if the device is working fine, you really don't need to update it.

It is, so maybe I won't update. My only issue is that when I enter bedside mode when charging, the screen dims even though I have set it not to do that. I like to see the clock when I charge over night. I thought the update may fix that issue, otherwise everything is fine. Thanks for the info again.

I figured out that I had not set the clock to stay on when charging. Now everything is ok so I won't update. No need.

In my experience, 1078 and 1062 was the worst OS for Tour. I'll stick to 1030

for the life of me I can't seem to figure out how to find official Verizon OS for Tour 9630!

Wiped with BBSAK, at 507 screen, and can't find verizon official!

Help! 1st timer at this, swapping GF's recently left behind 9630 (yeah new 9930) for son's bad trackball 9630 - messed up on device switch so starting with wiped 9630 on the good one.
