Download trouble..

I tried downloading the new OS offical for the storm 2 the .895

i downloaded it.. ran it.. and installed it on my computer.. it auto opened desktop manager and it didnt show i had any updates avail.. then i went into applications..and it showed a update there.. so i ran it.. thinking it woud have the new os.
but it didnt only as what i had on there.. weird.. this is my first time trying to upgrade my os with the new manager.. what would you think i am doing wrong??

-uninstall the OS ( .895 ) by going to add/remove a program in control panel

-go to c:\program files\common files\research in motion > delete this folder (research in motion)

-restart your PC and then reinstall the OS. ( Do not check the box where it says " run Desktop Manager " when it finished installing.
