did anyone else notice?

I haven't been on the site much lately but I have noticed that with the recent 5.0 official update for Verizon there has been a little multi-touch included. While texting, if you click a letter on the right side of the screen and then tap another letter on the left side of the screen (without releasing the surepress screen) it will register. I'v noticed that this helps my text much faster as you basically only have to click the screen half the time.. Anyone else notice/like this?

I wish that this was the case.. but i think you are mistaken.. Have not been able to do what you are discribing here... you might have a screen that just doesnt need to click as far.. But on mine to get a letter to pop up you must first release the screen to get the next letter to register

It works on mine.. and typing has become greatly increased.. Thought i was just tripping at first.. It's almost as if getting 2 letters for one click.. it does work..

yeah. it works for me every time and i love it. even if i do it slowly. are you on the official 5.0 Rig?

I see what you are saying... It is on the up swing.. if your fringer is by the letter that you are going to press next.. It will imput it as though it is typed.. I was wondering how the typing got faster... without any extra errors... Just another reason to love this os... Now just fix the dim issue... and we have something i can live with until upgrade..
