blackberry device software 5.0 and phone froze

hi i downloaded the blackberry device software 5.0 and my phones frozen it worked for about 10 minutes i changed the theme and then deleted a theme and it needed rebooted. it turns on but when it comes on you cant do anythin nothin happens cant get onto the menu or dial numbers. can somebody please help me as i dont know what to do i dont know if the phone is broke . also i have took the battery out several times waited half an hour with battery out to see if anything happens and nothing has happend
