Default BES(Provisioning) - Service Book on my BIS handset!???

Hello Forum
Ive been having countless problems with my personal emails on my handset (curve8520). Recently discovered that its somehow linked to my company's enterprise server. Im a BIS customer with vodafone, ive queried the service book with them and they can only confirm that the service book is linked to Enterprise Server but cannot help with the removal of this. IT department is a playful bunch so unlikely to admit to the link or assist with the removal of whatever applications theyve loaded on the device. Can someone pls help in this regard. How can i clean my handset of this ive done a handheld wipe but they still somehow manage to have access to my email services and i dnt know what else. I believe my phone has apps like Java Console Manager, Browser Daemon and CA manager to name a few on which is not BIS related app's. I hope this is not a matter that can only be resolved via Legal. I mean ive had enough and not to mentioned my first handset just packed up a few months back for no reason. This unauthorised accessing of my personal devices is not acceptable and need urgent solutions. Pls advise. Thanks
Regards Kali

Currently it says "Not Activated" but when im @ my desk .... My Media files are somehow accesses and corrupted, changing of my media selection etc. Somehow they still accessing it. Could it be that the Enterprise Server is accessed via my Blackberry ID created for my emails which i use for my App world access aswell

Sounds more like there's an IT Policy still on the device. It's a residual effect of being on a BES server, but they don't have any connection to it anymore. Check the Tips, How To and FAQs forum for info on removing an IT Policy.

Thanks so much. Could i perhaps ask. How does one load BES IT policies on a device initially. Doesnt this normally require authorisation from the User or atleast the User notified of these actions being done.
Thanks again The ScionicMan!!!

They would need physical access to the device or for you to go through the Enterprise Activation process. Its not something they could do from their end only.

Just a little food for thought on the IT policy issue.
I was gifted a couple of 8700c's. Both had IT policies on them.
First, go to Options > Status, and type in b u y r. It will either give you your total voice and data usage or it will give you the IT policy status at the bottom of the page.
Also, see if you can disable the firewall in Options, IT policies will prevent that.
I used BBSAK and hit wipe and loaded upgrade OS's and somewhere in the process, don't know where, don't know how, the IT policies were gone.
It made my whole day!
Mind you, I've read here that that doesn't work on all models. But, it didn't take long, and BBSAK is $5. May be worth a shot.
Cheers
