BB App World 3.0 and OS 5.x

Is it just me, or is this new App World 3.x a piece of junk if you run OS 5.x (I have a Bold 9700 which is 15 months old)?

I can't read reviews, I can't view screenprints, etc. -- did that all get taken out of App World 3.x or is the source of my problem the fact I'm running the old OS (which I want for my ring tones and alerts)

I have a curve 8520 and my appworld 3.x works fine and is very smooth. I think your problem is one for the experts at your service provider to answer.

Mine is running smooth, but if used too long (more than 45 minutes) the handheld will display the hourglass. I'm using 9630 (Tour) which is 3 yrs old
