 Applications versus Platform
I have done a thorough search of the forums and there has never been a definite answer to the question of Applications versus Platform.
Every version of OS 5.0 has a Applications number (which is generally considered the OS) and a Platform number.
Usually, the higher number is more current, but I noticed a strange thing on my 9000.
When I was running 5.0.0.1049, the Platform was 5.2.0.93
When I was running 5.0.0.1067, the Platform was 5.2.0.89
So, which one is the higher OS?
