9650 - lost access to BBM os5.0.0.1631/5.0.0.983

Now that I upgrade to this OS version I am getting the following error when I attempt to open messenger:

Uncaught exception: java.lang.nullPointerException

How can I address this so I can utilize Messenger again

Go find bbm in appworld, re-download it and reboot.

i got the same thing from updating to 983. i tried everything and it didnt work.

i wiped the phone/re installed the os/ deleted bbm and re installed it. nothing worked so i went back to .699

i think i tried 6 different ways messing with my phone for about 5 hours.

i have gone thought 6 and there were no issues. its just that one .983 os that messed it up. every other os worked fine. even after i installed that 983 and wiped the phone i still get the java error but i don't worry about because it doesn't affect anything.
