Default 5.983 saving issues

After updating today to .983 I noticed that the 'confirm delete' option had been checked to yes in the messaging section, no big, I'll just switch it to not ask me when I delete texts. That wasn't the case, i'll check it to 'no', go to my messages to see if it's worked and it still asks me to confirm delete. When I go into my messages options confirm delete is checked to 'yes'! Every time I go and check it to no and click save it automatically goes back to no once I leave the options menu. Whats going on?? And Yes, I've tried doing a battery pull.

I'm having a somewhat similar issue. I like AGENDA as my Default Calendar view. I've gone in multiple times and set it to Agenda, yet every time I open calendar its on DAY View. After trying multiple things, I finally set it to "most recent". So now it shows Day view, but I think your post and my issue show .983 clearly has an issue with saving settings or preferences.

Its a shame, because IMO .983 is faster and has better battery life than .975. (Right now meterberry is showing 2.2% per hour) and I have LOTS of apps installed.

I see in your post that you DID do a battery pull, but I thought I should post the below info since my situation has changed since I posted earlier.

I did a battery pull and the Calendar Default view save "quirk"... was fixed.
