Probably not physically actually higher, but it looks pronounced because of the fingerprint reader outline.

Yes, but it is high indeed for a normal spacebar might affect the typing experience

It very much does stand out. Feels like chewing with a tooth that's standing higher. They said keyboard was work in progress so we'll find out what the end product looks like

I'm more concerned that, from the pictures, it looks like the space bar isn't one solid level piece. I can imagine it getting frustrating if my thumb is catching on the edge of the finger print scanner, every time i press the space bar. I'm keeping in mind, however, that I have no idea what it's like, until i actually get my hands on it.

I don't think it will be an issue as many reviewers got to try it out last month and nobody brought it up. I was also a concern of mine after seeing the photos, but I would imagine if it caused any discomfort when typing that someone who got a hands-on would have brought it up.

That ****** who reviewed the priv from Gizmodo will make a big fuss about nothing regarding the spacebar. Those type of reviewers
