Really want a 835 option. May end up going with 625 if cheaper and has bigger battery if there is a 820 option. 835 should allow to have big battery while offering more performance than 820 and taking less power than 625.

No chance. Wishful thinking. This isn't Apple who releases multiple variances of iPhones.

Well that's interesting. They did this approach with the idol line!

Would be nice if they offered a smaller version too. But I know they are not Samsung or Apple loll.

Have any other phone manufacturers ever offered different models like that in the same market? I can't think of any. So, IF there are two variants (besides storage size(16,32,64)) then it must be different models in different parts of the world?

AFAIK the only BlackBerry ever to have different storage variants was the PlayBook.

Yes, but the op is suggesting that it's two different processors: high end / low end, not storage. My question is "Have any phone manufacturers ever offered a high end / low end device variant?". If that's what BlackBerry has coming, it must be for different parts of the world.

Samsung offers various models of the s5,6,7,etc variant. They do have other differences than just processor and memory amount though.

My guess... TCL takes it slow. It's not really known if there is a PKB market to support one phone, pushing out two at the same time... even if they are slight variants would be risky. Doubt many Carriers would pick up both, which would not be good.

One PKB for now, with a new VKB to allow BlackBerry to pull out of the hardware business and EOL their DTEKS. TCL does make the DTEKS, but I imagine for clear warranty purposes, they'll not want to carrier over any existing products.

Definitely won't be 2 versions, to big a risk cost wise.

And I also think that people are getting tired of the iPhone "S" Variant . Does not offer much more than regular one to my thinking .

Do you have any data to back this up, or is it just a gut feeling you have?
