I would doubt it at this juncture. I would assume they're hoping for slight profits on this and any additional design costs would be prohibitive to this. Maybe a future device depending on how this one works out but I would be surprised if the Mercury had a special addition. Hope they prove me wrong though

My guess is no. If you want a Merc, buy what is available at launch. One could argue that the Mercury is special enough as it is.

The black and silver has really grown on me a lot. It's a very clean design now and honestly we should be worried more about how it sells then colors etc. The Passport had tons of colors and it really didn't matter.

If it's to be like the Passport SE, then hope for BB Mobile to make a deal with a carrier, have the deal fall through, and sell the prospective carrier model as a "special edition".
