Did you hear the one about the picture of a mcDonalds Hamberger and something about comparing it to the real think.

Well someone used that in one of the threads and made a very good point about judging something against A PICTURE!!

Looks like a sweet Phone, I hope BB advertises the phone, but with their track record it will do down in flames no fault of the phone
Looks very solid and a tank, like the Bold, Z30 SE Passport and Priv.

I hope the specs and guts are leading edge and not 2 year old technology

I don't know what the added benefit of having the keys glossy like that.. why didn't they just use the same key style that's on the classic/passport?? Phone definitely looks solid hope it's not too thick/heavy

I like to see the bottom stereo speakers. Keyboard looks great. Can't wait till Saturday. Then I'll find out if my Priv will become a second device, or I pass and stick with the Priv.

    ......still hoping for 4gb RAM.

It's not glossy, they are clear keys with the letters painted underneath so the keys never wear out.

I'd choose clear keys over painted matte keys any day.

Yep, me too. And they most likely don't look as glossy in real life. The funny thing about photos is that they make clear things look more reflective than they look with your own eyes. I think our two eyes kind of cancel out reflections automatically when looking at clear things...

    Oh geez, lol.

I remember a comment made in one of the articles where it had that kind of connotation and the guy said "no 'that's what she said' jokes please!" and the first response was "That's what he said." I laughed out loud literally while reading that... :-D

I understand you ... perhaps it is only the fact, that we don't know these kind of keys. As soon as we hold them in our hands, we would appreciate them perhaps. We will see. It is only a different thing ...

I like the keys i can deal with the look as long as it doesn't change the way the keyboard feels...I am looking for that old school feeling. Not sure if that makes sense to you guys lol

Looks like there is going to be some great and happy key click travel - that was really the priv's issue because of how shallow it was.

The advantage is, you can clean them better. A PKB gathers a certain amount of oil from your fingers and it's good to be able to use something like a eyeglass lens wipe to clean it, and a smooth surface makes this work better.

Also note that in the picture it has nipples! So you can find the home keys by touch. I assume the K has a nipple too. Who wants a one-nipple keyboard?

hmm ... have you been keeping up on the discussions around how this is not a BlackBerry phone, but BlackBerry Mobile. As such, the BlackBerry you know and refer to has nothing to do with this one (outside of software and perhaps design), so they will not be advertising it. TCL, on the other hand, will likely take the lead in doing so.

Also, most of the specs have been discussed as well.

I think what most are wondering about is the price and whether the camera is as good as what it is being compared to.
