It really is I feel.

If you look at the media coverage of it, it's very favorable versus the PRIV and Passport were awful. It's almost like they have done so much crap for Apple and Samsung that they've ran out of love and now BlackBerry is the only show in town for MWC.

BlackBerry (er, TCL) has a HUGE opportunity folks.

Congratulations!! CrackberryKevin as you will be the heart of MWC Merc launch.

My only concern is may well known Tech Youtubers have neither spoken about this devie nor tweeted about it, I wish BlackBerry may have invited or done something to as a Pre-Marketing strategy. I've seen a lot of famous YT talking about S8 which is even not making its way to MWC.

Nonetheless it does not matter for me anyways I will be picking this up and it's time put the Passport SE in drawer.

I would say the 'bigger thing' happening at MWC is the return of Nokia. It depends what you are looking out for though.

I agree although I do hope Blackberry steal the show. My only concern is the design of the Mercury. From some angles it looks nice, from others it looks ugly and people genuinely do want a phone that's easy on the eyes. The market is fickle and if it looks ugly in any way, the response will be ugly too.

I'm excited to see the Mercury and return of the 3310, although I believe the 3310 wont be running android. If that's the case, Blackberry Mobile have a chance to seriously shine.

BB Mobile have a good chance to shine as the Mercury launch is before the Nokia event. So they are in there early. 3310 will not be Android. There's enough of them around . Apparently it will be a slimmer version with a larger colour screen of the same basic design.

Can't see enough 3rd party module creators coming on board now unless Alcatel builds their own line.

Correct. Motorola is pledging a minimum of 3 years support to the mods, and there are at least 12 mods in the pipeline for the next year.
