So, if you read Bla1ze's post earlier... what do you think? Is this the DTEK70? Would you buy it? Do you really think it's going to be the last BlackBerry device with physical keyboard?

Earlier as in 2 days ago? Anyway, I guess maybe, depends on a lot of things. Price being a big factor...

Also hope it would have wireless charging...

Yay but would yayer if the navigation buttons were on the screen instead of being capacitive. Only downside that I can think of. The back camera seems same as the Priv's (according to the rumors) and the front cam is better plus a better build quality seems to be pretty solid.

I'm fairly disappointed by design. It lacks purity and simplicity of BlackBerry 10 product's Industrial design. It's not even consistent with DTEK range. I would even say that Priv looks better.

Perfect hit would be something with look and feel of passport se.

Let's see how usable will it be and than let's judge :-)

If the 70 is indicative of the price then heck no. Should be a 55.

I'll wait and see what the final production version looks like both in terms of finish and overall length. In the meantime, as much as I like physical keyboards, I'm getting more and more used to using the virtual keyboard on my DTEK50 with predictive and corrective typing.

Almost put life on hold for this device to come out. I'm also disappointed by the design (ie awkward silver top), but given it's the only android full time pkb, guess I'm bound to give it a shot. (and hope that some day BB or a licensee will make a better looking one)

Hard to to see me replacing my Priv with N on the way but I will definitely be purchasing simply for the keypad and updated specs.

I will need to see it to decide. I decided on getting the Passport right away when I had a chance to play with the device at a Telus store. I need to feel the quality, design, and performance in person before making a decision. It took me only 5 minutes of demo time to decide that I really want it.

It will depend on if the Mercury ends up on Verizon or not, as AT&T can not touch Verizon's coverage in my travel area. As it stands I will be switching to the Priv this week from the Classic.

Can only decide after knowing the specs if the specs are drooling then I can compromise a bit on the "screen is to keypad ratio" which to me seems a little odd as haven't seen anything like it....price doesnt matter if the device can perform

What else can we do? We'll have to embrace it. I concur on the design issue though, I'd rather have a more basic and classic BlackBerry design (think Passport / Q10 / Bold). Not liking that silver top at all.

The camera has to be at least as good a the Priv for me to consider.
Even the Priv camera is questionable for me. The camera is my most important feature now. This worries me. As BlackBerry certainly has a long way to go to having a really good camera, especially compared to the other big guys.
