Hi,
I am using SD card 128GB in Blackberry Leap. After formating SD card by 'Format Media Card' in 'Storage and Access', I create 26 Empty Folders named as English Alphabets. Then I delete all those, but I found that one folder cant be delete which Folder name is 'P'. It shows error message 'Unable to delete file' 'Permission Denied'.
I try one more thing that, I kept one file in that folder 'P', then try to delete that folder. Result is file delete but folder not & shown same error.
I also try to rename it but it not allow.
There is no parental control or encryption setting then also Error comes.
Is any clue how to delete it?

you can't create all the folders on your card. Did you insert it into the phone? BB creates folders it needs to have to work. What have you done with those files?

Question is: with what tool did you create the folders? The creation of the folder is the moment when the OS grants the initial permissions (or not). It can happen that a file or folder doesn't get the permissions (or ownership) you would expect. This may may be the case if you create the folders using an USB connection. If you then try to delete such things you get an access error. In most such situations you can mount the SD card again under USB and delete the folder there.

Other idea: another app sits on this folder. Did you configure any app to use that P? Reconfigure this app to use another folder and then close this app.

In many such situations a simple reboot does a good job.

I use simple method for create folder in SD card.
Add folder option I can see in file manager. By that I add folder 'P'. I kept one doc which has one word 'Hello', that doc I created by Docs to go''.
Then I try to delete that folder, it show error but delete file inside it not folder.
Need help to understand what reason behind it.

I've tried this using my Z30 and it's the same problem. Even renaming and moving the file is impossible. It must be a BlackBerry OS issue.
