I bought my Leap from Amazon and it arrived today
I transferred everything from my z30 via BlackBerry Link. The look and the feel of the Leap is good, it doesn't seem that it's a cheap phone. $275 by all means isn't cheap but it feels the same way my z10 and my z30 felt when I bought them and both were around $600. The curved edges really lays in your hand quite well. The OS is zippy just as it was on my z30 running the latest leak I opened several apps and surfed the Internet with minimal lag. ( I'm sure it's still trying to settling down with the transfer) I'm currently using the leap on Tmobile US, the wifi and cellular signals appears to be the same as the z30. The speaker is on the back and it's loud. The screen is where the Leap really shines, it's bright and everything is nice and crisp.

The one thing that really gets to me is the 8MP sticker on the back, it should of said LEAP instead.

I know it has a slower processor, and doesn't have NFC. But for the price I don't think you can beat it. No disappointments here.

Got my keep from amazon today and the only thing that bugs me about the device is that

    It doesn't have 5G wifi
The buttons are very shallow and you don't know when you are actually pressing them

My buttons are good, they make a click feel when I push them. They are really close to the body of the phone.

Guess I'm just the lucky one. The volume down clicks nice but the volume up and the mute button don't.

Did you get yours from BlackBerry? If so I would call them and let them know we'd send a replacement.

I hope the battery life improves, I'm sure it's just settling in. I would easily get a full day out of my z30 with heavy usage.

Took about three days on mine before the battery started settling down. The battery life is rather good. Only 7 percent used in the last 7 hours since last charge with push for 3 accounts and mixed light use in that time.

Yeah that's what I figure, the back is warm so it's using a lot of juice right now, I noticed a bit of a lag playing with it today. One thing that is gone compared to my z30 is the couple second delay in answering calls.

One plus is that the screen is beautiful and bright. Not liking the soft touch back as it feels slippery. I may ask amazon for a replacement die to the buttons

Is the screen better than z10? I won't be expecting any improvements from BlackBerry though...

My son is using my 2yr old z10, I think the leap screen is better, obviously larger.

I purchased the BlackBerry leap for my mother bday, gorgeous device, screen is crisp and clean as myself Owning the Z30, I don't see the leap being a low budget device..might be missing some features from the Z30, if a person doesn't care for it or don't use, BlackBerry Leap is great upgrade.

This. It's like they thought 8 MP AUTO FOCUS was a big deal and something to brag about; embarrassing really.

I agree with the 8MP sticker, I can't wait for a flip case to be made so I can cover it up.

I got mine the other day and so far so good. After I got it fully charged there was an update already. I too am concerned about the battery life but do believe the phone is settling down. I have 3 BB now, the Z10, Z30 and now the Leap. I am very pleased with this phone so far. How about you??

Same here, I need a flip case. I've been using the leap for a couple of days now, it seems to be working fine I haven't missed my z30 so far. Battery is better today. Tomorrow will be the test when I'm back in the office and I can really give it a good work out.
