    I have my calendar always minimized since I have to open the app multiple times in a day.

    On my Leap, I am finding that the minimized apps often close by itself, leaving just an empty app box.

    I am on the latest OS from Rogers.

    I also did the same with my Z10 and the Q10. And the minimized apps never closed by itself. What do you think is going on here?

    not enough free memory to keep the windows open. Too many apps running in the background

    This is normally the reason. Once your device runs out of memory it closes the oldest (first) app you opened at the start of your 'session'

    Try restarting your device and keep less than 4 Apps open at a time.
