Really? I thought that's what the Q dd, the classic did? And now the leap does? Oh well, if at first you don't succeed try, try again.

Classic was for ones that wanted the toolbelt? Leap is for ones that want a full touch?

    Makes sense right?

Take a leap of faith. BlackBerry is back with low cost touchscreen phones? Maybe that's the marketing they're going for...

Defiantly targeting the bulk buying enterprise, not the one purchase happy with a power house of a phone consumer..... Which yes I know is their focus now.

Working for a company that is still all BlackBerry. I definitely see the younger workers mostly have Z10s and Z30s. Older guys mostly have Q10s.

Leap makes sense. Have to have a touch device, that is 98% of the market.

The retail market is almost all gone for BlackBerry. You don't need the power of a Samsung S6 to run QNX or even most Android apps. You just don't.

Aside from the style of it, the Leap is the successor to the Z3, but I think BB is positioning this to "fix" the lack of LTE on the Z3 as well as continuing the Z10 production. What do more people want these days? Bigger screen, and longer battery life. The Z10 was fine at what it did, but those shortcomings helped it falter. I think the Leap fixes those, and can now be repositioned to address bulk enterprise sales. Thoughts?

I don't think anyone "needs" the power of the S6 on any platform.

Blackberry can target whoever they want with yet another budget phone but unless they'll not fall on deaf ears again, this phone becomes yet another dust collector in the sale shelves.

The Leap's numbers will get tied in with BlackBerry 10 devices moved on the next quarter. This won't be a heavy hitting phone for go getters. Most of them go get iPhones because it offers a better work life balance option: native work apps during business hours, native gaming apps for after. And the cherry on top: native social media apps which service both work and play.
This is the phone BlackBerry needs to push into enterprise as the alternative to Android and iPhones. Otherwise it will be as successful as the Z10, Q10, Z30, Z3, PP, and Classic: couple 100K moved over the quarter.
