    1 - FB messenger
    2 - VK
3 - VBB (Berlin Travel App)
    4 - Skype
5 - DB navigator (German Rail Transport App)
    6 - Skyscanner
    7 - Viber
    8 - imo

    Looking forward to helpful suggestions

I checked....but was getting mixed results. And nowhere I saw anybody mentioning how good or bad it works in 10.3.3.

I tried...only thing which found interesting is the website google reader where one can convert apk to bar. But problem is for that I should know which apk is the best. And also last time when I tried converting through it, it gave me an error.

I am wondering where are all those frequent posters and experts in CB. 3+ days already over and nobody showed up with helpful contribution. I thought that was all the main strength of this community!

Sigh. Literally the second link on a Google search.

Sounds like you want the community to hold your hand through this.

I believe OP is asking for battery friendly versions of those apps.

As a rule of thumb (and not regarding any app in particular), older apps could have security or API issues and any noticeable battery improvements will likely come from missing features. Your best bet will be to find native variants on BlackBerry World or use App Ops to disable permissions and see if that helps.

I was trying many apks for google maps yesterday and then found a bar version of google maps (converted from apk I guess) and it works real good
Also found same sort for German Public Transport app.
    Others still searching!

Updates have been rolling out for a week now. Got mine last week with no noticeable difference. Only difference that I noticed is wifi calling has now been enabled. All calls go through wifi when connected to wifi. No way to turn it off without turning off all wifi

I don't see that on my my leap and I received the update a day after it was released. Where on your phone are you seeing WiFi calling?

Sorry, I misread your post. On the home screen, the top right wifi calling icon is grayed out. Before the update, it had a red exclamation mark which signals wifi is not available. Now it is grayed out but sometimes it is same white color as other indicators and shows all calls and text are going via wifi. This happens automatically sometimes and there isn't any switch or anything I can see. Just very weird and odd. I am with T-MOBILE. So this isn't happening all the time and just sometimes on it's own

Yeah I think t-mobile is the only carrier in the US that allows WiFi calling in general. I don't even have that icon on my phone(unlocked from BlackBerry using Straight Talk)

Weird, my phone was also purchased from blackberry directly. It is just strange that T-Mobile does not support wifi calling on this BB 10.3 but I get the phone connecting through wifi on occasion by itself very odd this started right after the update.

In addition, when this wifi calling mode appears, I cannot send any SMS or MMS. They are all stuck in sending mode. Once I turn of wifi connection completely and switch to carrier service, all messages go through. This is very frustrating.
