Apparently BlackBerry Leap is almost identical to Z3.

Nobody noticed it? Or is it so that hardly anybody knows about existence of BlackBerry Z3?

Maybe also the name "Leap" suggests step-up from Z3.

I agree specifications of Leap get close to Z30, but still Z30 is certainly a premium device with Super AMOLED screen, faster processor, stereo speakers, better wi-fi capabilities, GLONASS (for GPS), USB Host functionality and HDMI port.

I think most of us have been aware that the LEAP was the Z3 with a few minor changes.....

It has been rumored for as long as the Z3 has been around.

I find the leap better looking.
Like the volume buttons, the strip @ the camera...
The white one is my favorite one. I would have loved it if it was high end, but yeah we can't do anything about it

I wouldn't say "apparently"... cause it was the Z3 with LTE renamed

It is a little different from the Z3, some minor changes have been made and a different manufacture is making it (think the Foxconn renogated their deal to manufacturing only - don't think the sales of the Z3 impressed them at all).

But Leap has lot many specifications improvements/upgrades compared to Z3... like 4G/LTE network, screen resolution, processor power, RAM, internal storage & upgradable storage capacity, both cameras and some more battery power.
