    Hi all,

Just received the LEAP yesterday and it's just incredible, and this is coming from a z30, there are very few complaints and I'm happy I made this purchase!

But I've just had a full nights charge, checked a few things and battery dropped 2% within 30 mins or so.

Then I checked device monitor and my predicted battery life is 7 hours! ( see pic attached)

Has anyone experienced the same thing and should this settle in???

Like others have said, at least give it one week. Then see how the battery works. It has to settle to the way you use the device.

Even as a brand new device that has to settle in, 7 hours from 100% seemed to low.... Hopefully it was an incorrect reading

It's just a very simple extrapolation of the current activity.

In other words, if it was synching new accounts, while you were swiping around checking it out, watching some you tube, etc etc. The device manager tells you how long the device will last if you keep using it exactly the same way until it runs out.

Once you put it down for a few minutes it re-calculates and gives a more realistic (i.e. Reflective of intermittent use) estimate.

Thanks for all the advice wa so scared. It seems it contacts and accounts syncing etc... I have been using moderately and the estimated battery life has continued to increase! Back to the z30 days, phew!

Device Manager goes by historical usage. Once you settle with the new device, it should start giving out rather realistic battery mileage based on your usage history.
